on-IDLE | #ImAStar Christmas Campaign

Problem: After the success and unrequested participation of on-IDLE's 2018 Christmas campaign, we wondered how we could encourage the use of social media in a purposeful manner.
Solution: A physical Christmas card that featured an invitation to participate in our competition. Once the QR code is scanned, the recipient would then reach a landing page where they may create their own ‘face in hole’ style image, by either uploading an image or capturing one using their camera. The next stage requires the user to share the image on either Facebook or Twitter using the hashtag #ImAStar. The drawn winner won a bottle of bubbly.
Highlights: The card is made from paper called Extract by the premium paper company G.F. Smith, which is produced using a zero-waste process to ‘CupCycle’ disposable coffee cups.
